OVERVIEW
Each night, family and friends gather around two giant camp fires and sing their favorite tunes, led by a Disney Cast Member. Chip ‘n Dale work their way through the crowd taking pictures and signing autographs. They will come to you, it is asked that you not approach them. The sing-a-long will last approximately 40 minutes.
WHAT TIME DOES THE SING-A-LONG START?
The sing-a-long starts around 7PM nightly in the Spring/Summer months, and around 8PM nightly during the Fall/Winter months.
WHERE IS THE SING-A-LONG LOCATED?
The campfire sing-a-long is located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds, near Meadow Trading Post.
IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE?
Absolutely! You can bring your own marshmallows to roast over the fire, or you can purchase what you need to make s’mores at the Chuck Wagon Snack Bar. There is also hot dogs, pizza, soda, beer, coffee, and more available for purchase.
DO I HAVE TO BE STAYING AT THE FORT WILDERNESS RESORT TO ATTEND?
Not at all. The sing-a-long is open to all Walt Disney World Guests.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
If heavy rain or constant rain is expected, they will probably cancel the evening. However, if it’s intermittent or brief, there is a covered porch they may move the activities to, until it stops raining.
HOW DO I GET TO FORT WILDERNESS
There are several ways you can get to Fort Wilderness. You can take a Friendship Boat from Magic Kingdom, a bus from any of the 4 theme parks, a Minnie Van/Uber/Lyft if you are coming from your hotel.
ARE THERE RESTROOMS?
Yes, there are restrooms available behind the snack bar.
WHAT IS MOVIES UNDER THE STARS?
Movies Under the Stars is offered FREE to Walt Disney World Guests at each WDW Resort hotel. After the campfire is over, Guests can opt to stay and watch the selected movie for the evening.
