I have been enjoying the delights of the Food & Wine Festival since the early 2000s. This is one of my absolute favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World. Over the years, I’ve had the great pleasure of seeing the Food & Wine Festival get better and better, and even though the 2020 Food & Wine Festival is different this year (let’s face it, everything is different this year), I’m certain it will be a hit. The world needs Disney right now, and it absolutely needs the Food & Wine Festival.
This years festival is extra special, as it combines the best of the Flower & Garden Festival AND the Food & Wine Festival! When the Walt Disney World parks closed its doors in March 2020 due to COVID-19, the Flower & Garden Festival had just begun. During the closure, the Walt Disney World crew maintained all of the beautiful topiaries scattered around Epcot Future World and World Showcase. As a result, those topiaries are still there and can be enjoyed during the Food & Wine Festival.
So let’s dig in a little and see what’s in store for the 2020 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!
- This years festival will be a modified version of the Fall favorite (and longest ever); it will include 20 global marketplaces spaced out around the park
- The festival starts on Wednesday July 15, 2020
- An official end date has not been announced
- The “Eat to the Beat Concert Series” is canceled for this year, but look for other forms of entertainment provided throughout the park during the festival, such as the Mariachi Cobra and JAMMitors.
- And as mentioned, for those of you that may have missed out on the Flower & Garden Festival will get the best of both worlds – the infamous topiaries will still be present during the Food & Wine Festival for all to enjoy!
- Note that this years Festival Guide is digital. It can be found on the My Disney Experience app. Navigate to the festival food booths and check out the menus, check in on where you can find your favorite festival merchandise or look up when you can catch the lates performance by the JAMMitors! Everything is located in one convenient place.
This years modified version of the festival brings just a few changes. For one, there are about half the amount of festival food booths. But, don’t be fooled! There is no shortage of diverse global cuisines and unique drinks to try. I’ve listed out all of the food booths below and their offerings.

Remy is back!! Help Remy as he explores the World Showcase at EPCOT collecting ingredients for his signature dish. Purchase your map and stickers from select Festival merchandise locations—including Pin Traders – Camera Center, Port of Entry or World Traveler at International Gateway.
This activity is super cute and I highly recommend it to anyone, young and old alike. I posted my thoughts on the scavenger hunt the last time I participated at Epcot. You can read my thoughts on that here: https://adisneystateofmind.com/remys-ratatouille-hide-squeak-is-it-worth-trying/
